What’s That Smell?

Public Safety questioned two Conover Hall residents on Monday, March 31, after a female staff member reported smelling what seemed to be marijuana in one of the wings. Public Safety located the room the odor appeared to be coming from and talked to the occupants.

When Public Safety told the residents of their suspicions of drug use, the suspects admitted to smoking marijuana, but said they had thrown away the residue. The residents gave permission for Public Safety to search the room, but nothing was found. One of the residents was charged with unauthorized possession/use of illegal substances.
