What changes would you like to see made next year? Next year, I would like to build stronger bridges of communication for students to communicate with the government, as well as better resources for students to know what’s going on our campus and in the Princeton community. Building alliances with the other campus is another issue that I feel strongly about. This has been a very controversial issue with students on this campus in the past, but I believe it is a conversation that needs to be had. I think it is important to think about certain resources that the Lawrenceville campus may be able to offer us. For instance, the scheduling is a very important issue on our campus. We need strong leadership to negotiate with the Lawrenceville SGA and the UAPC on matters regarding fall break as well as course and curriculum reform.
How would you go about making those changes? Outlets such as Facebook and Tumblr (blogs) would be a great way to spark communication on our campus. Since Westminster no longer has a newspaper of its own, I would like to see some sort of online journal of stories, events and music reviews to be created, exclusively, for Westminster students.
