Treasurer – Samantha Scully
Hometown: Ringwood, N.J.
Year: Sophomore
Major: Voice Performance
Clubs/Activities: Student Financial Board 2009-2010, Senate 2008-2009
Why are you running for this position? I have been involved in SGA for the past two years, which has given me knowledge and insight into the inner workings on student government. I have enjoyed working on the Student Financial Board, and I hope to help with any situations that may present themselves in the future. I have a vast passion for the incredible community we are a part of, and I hope to aid in the improvement of the future while keeping our history and tradition in mind.
What changes would you like to see made next year? I want to see further communication between the administration and the student body. I would like to continue to see a financial board that represents needs and desires of the Westminster community to the greatest possible extent. I would hope to work with the board to accomplish an amalgam of both permanent improvement projects and wonderfully entertaining events. I hope, overall, that the student body is able to reap the benefits of everything next year has to offer.
How would you go about making those changes? I would work my hardest to make level-headed decisions in favor of the student body, always with my door and ears open to anyone with insight.
