Why are you running for this position? I believe that I have thorough experience in making sure our Student Activities Fee is spent wisely on events that will impact the greatest number of students. I am currently the Finance Board Chairman and have served on the board for two years, showing how much I care about using student funds to benefit our university and the students as a whole.
What changes would you like to see made next year? As Finance Board Chairman, I have utilized an electronic and more energy sustainable approach in our proposal meetings, doing away with wasting tons of paper. I hope to work on further implementing an electronic yet practical approach to submitting check requests and proposals, so as to do away with paper all together. This will also allow for better record keeping and efficiency.
How would you go about making those changes? I will continue to work with Dave Keenan and the administration at Rider that I have gotten to know very well over the years to figure out the best way to provide this feature. I will also be working with the SGA accountant and to make sure that the process will be sufficient in upholding accounting standards. It is really a matter of remaining diligent in what needs to be done to make a difference.
Why should people vote for you? I would appreciate your vote because I believe I am a very approachable and dependable guy who will provide Rider with great programming through wise and calculated spending. I consider myself a servant leader because I enjoy working with my fellow students and helping them in every way I can. I have the experience of being a part of SGA for the previous three years and I hope to continue my service as SGA Treasurer.
