Study tips for final exams
By Laura Mortkowitz
Get good sleep
Go to sleep at a regular time. Altering your sleeping cycle to study until the wee hours of the morning doesn’t help.
Eat healthy
Vegetables and fruits are the best thing to eat. Caffeine, while preferred for cram sessions, won’t help you relax and your mind won’t be as sharp.
Take breaks from studying
If you’re focusing less, take a break but avoid television and loud music. Walk around to relax your legs.
No distractions
Focus only on studying. Distractions cause you to lose concentration. Once you start studying, don’t let anything break your focus.
Practice relaxation techniques
Deep breathing is the easiest, but yoga and meditation help.
Lastly, stay positive!
