Senior Ashley Smith (above) was recognized for her essay on “Patriarchy Under the Lens: Confinement and Constriction in The Shining and Full Metal Jacket.” Seniors Meighan Hogate and Sean Rainey also won awards for the narrative film Cornucopia of Disaster and the documentary Footnotes in The American Revolution, respectively.
