A student escort vehicle was involved in an accident Thursday night outside of a residence hall.
According to a Public Safety official, the female student escort driver was picking up students outside of Poyda and when she was pulling away, she hit a male Rider graduate’s car. There was damage to the student escort vehicle’s bumper and one of the fog lights. The graduate’s car had some damage to the rear fender on the passenger side as well.
It was confirmed that the graduate was speeding but the three Public Safety officers and one Lawrence Police officer said that no one was hurt.
