Strong gusts knock down tree

Public Safety was dispatched to Wright Residence Hall for an “unusual occurence/hazardous condition” on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 1:45 p.m.

According to Vickie Weaver, director of Public Safety, a male staff member called to report that a tree had fallen down next to the building because of 50 mph gusts. No one was injured.
Weaver explained that Facilities was called and reported that no damage to the building had occurred.
