While a quarter of students surveyed plan to jet off on vacation for spring break, almost three-quarters said they would be staying home for the week off. The cost of the trip or the high gas prices is causing nearly 83 percent of respondents to leave their bags unpacked. Almost 30 percent of students planning to hit the road will be traveling a farther distance than last year. More than 60 percent plan to visit with friends and family. The unsystematic survey conducted this week included 170 students from the Lawrenceville and Princeton campuses.
