Bump in the night

A female student in Olson Hall was awakened unpleasantly when she fell out of her bed in the middle of the night on Sept. 8. At 3:30 a.m., Public Safety arrived at Olson and met with the victim who said she was sound asleep when she rolled over and fell out of bed, striking her head on a bookshelf on her way down. Her roommate was awakened by the fall and called Public Safety. The officers noticed that she had a small cut on the left side of her forehead. The student victim said she felt dazed, but refused further medical treatment.

Girls only

A student reported the intrusion of an unidentified male into a bathroom in Wright Hall on Sept. 13. Public Safety arrived at Wright at 11:23 p.m., and were informed by a female staff member of the indecent conduct of the male suspect. The officers spoke with a female student who said that while she was in the shower around 9:45 p.m., an unknown man reportedly entered the bathroom, left, re-entered twice more and made comments while in the bathroom. She was unable to describe him because she was in the shower. Public Safety replaced the locks on the bathroom and is still investigating this incident. False alarm

On Sept. 13, Public Safety received a call from a female staff member reporting that an altar cloth was missing from the altar table in Gill Chapel. Officers arrived at the chapel at about 1:40 p.m. and spoke with the female staff member. She described the altar cloth and indicated that it was last seen at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 12. Later that day at 3:17 p.m., Public Safety received a call from the same staff member saying that the missing altar cloth had been found. Another department was holding on to it to use it for an upcoming wedding.
