Broken mirror

A student reported that a mirror had been knocked off  her car on Wednesday, April 8, at 1:55 p.m. Public Safety officers met with the student, who said she parked her car in the student lot on April 5. When she returned, the driver’s side mirror had been knocked off. Public Safety officers determined that it was likely punched or kicked. The suspect is unknown and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should contact Public Safety.

Alcohol violation

A female resident student was charged with an alcohol violation on Thursday, April 9, at 12:08 a.m. The suspect was seen by Public Safety officers being helped from Switlik to Conover by two male students. Though she initially denied consuming alcohol, but admitted to it when officers escorted her back to her room. The female student showed no further signs of intoxication, she was charged with violating the alcohol policy.

Door Removed

A student was reportedly seen ripping a door off its hinges in Kroner on Friday, April 10, at 3:11 a.m. A staff member saw the door and notified Public Safety. Public Safety officers found that an exterior entry door had been removed. The student was found in his room, and the staff member who witnessed the incident was able to identify him. The student used the door to let others into the building.  Facilities was called and repaired the damage.
