Female harassed

A female student reported that she had been harassed by a male commuter student for several weeks. On Thursday, April 2, at 1:22 a.m., the victim reported to Public Safety that she had been harassed online, on the phone and in person. The suspected student allegedly followed her through the parking lot while she was on her way to her car. When the victim reached her car, the suspect reportedly got out of his car and grabbed her by the arm, leaving a bruise. The suspect also allegedly got into the victim’s car without permission. The victim prepared a statement at the Public Safety office and intended to notify the Lawrence Township Police.

Shrubbery violence

A suspect damaged shrubbery outside of Hill Hall and a heater within the building on Sunday, April 5, at 4:51 a.m. The suspect reportedly removed 11 shrubs from outside the residence hall, and several clothing items were left behind. Upon further inspection, a broken beer bottle and a bloody paper towel were also found. Public Safety officers then went to check the interior of Hill Hall for any damage. Officers found that a heater inside the building had been damaged: the cover and fan blade had been removed. The cost of the damage is unknown.

or was it?

Public Safety officers were dispatched to the main residence lot for an accident without injury on Friday, April 3, at 8:10 p.m. A female student allegedly parked her car in the lot on Monday, March 30, and when she came back there were scratches and a dent on the driver’s side. Pictures were taken, and then the Lawrence Township Police examined the damage. According to the police, the damage was not caused by another vehicle, but by the victim’s careless driving. The cost of the damage is unknown, and no additional information is available.
