Hit-and-run
A female resident student’s vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run last week.
It was reported to Public Safety on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 10:15 a.m. The car was parked in Z Lot.
The parked car was struck by an unknown vehicle, and the right rear bumper and quarter panel were damaged. The cost of the damage is unknown.
Where’s the fire?
Someone “maliciously discharged” a fire extinguisher in a classroom in Science Hall last week.
On Friday, Nov. 13, at 2:15 p.m. a male faculty member notified Public Safety.
He said that at around 2 p.m. he saw that an unknown person had discharged an extinguisher.
Public Safety officers took photos and notified Unicco. They also replaced the extinguisher.
Theft
Two female students reported that items were stolen from their purses while they attended an event at the SRC last weekend.
On Saturday, Nov. 14, at 8:58 p.m. a female resident and a female commuter reported the theft, which occurred while they were playing in a tournament.
The commuter reported that her Rider ID and credit card were taken, and the resident reported cash missing.
Public Safety would like to remind students not to leave personal belongings unattended in public areas.
