Bamboozled

There’s nothing like the smell of fresh bamboo in a college parking lot. On April 1 at 2:13 p.m., Public Safety received a call regarding an individual who may have been damaging the fence along the Kroner Hall parking lot. When officers arrived, they found a student trying to cut a piece of fresh bamboo along the fence line. The student explained the bamboo was a prop for his theater class, and officers left the scene.

Exit no more

If only we lived in a world with no need for emergency exit signs. On April 3 at 4:10 a.m., an officer was conducting a routine park-and-walk of Olson Hall when he discovered an emergency exit sign had been vandalized. Public Safety does not know how much it will cost to repair the damage and no suspects have been found.
