Why are you running for this position? I’m running for this position so I can give back to Rider in a sense. If given the mandate by my fellow students, I will do my best to improve school spirit and make Rider a healthier community.
What issue(s) is/are most important to you in this election? Why? The two most important issues to me are the school’s smoking policy and expanding the events and activities available on campus.
If you win, how do you plan to address the issue(s) you feel are important? I will use my vote in student government to support initiatives dealing with those issues.
How do you plan on working with the Finance Board to fairly distribute money to clubs and organizations for 2009-2010? I think it is crucial to fostering school spirit that clubs and organizations offer activities on campus. The failure to allot funding adequately throughout the entire year weakens pride in our school and encourages more students to go home over the weekends. As a result, money must be given out with greater care and less frequency. To do this I would push for stricter limits on spontaneous funding.
