What clubs and organizations on campus are you involved with? Resident Advisor, COMPASS program, Zoo Crew, varsity women’s tennis, Kappa Delta Pi and Council for Exceptional Children.
Why are you running for this position? I am running for SGA secretary because it is a great way to advocate for Rider and get more involved on campus. I have a lot of school pride and I enjoy seeing Rider grow and advance, as a campus and academically. Rider has been improving and the campus has been beautified immensely in the past two years that I have been a student here and I look forward to helping make that continue to happen in the future. I feel that the secretary position is very important in student government because we need someone who can record all the ideas and the attendance at all SGA meetings and activities.
What issue(s) is/are most important to you in this election? Why? In my opinion some of the most important issues are about improving student parking, developing the Safe Rides plan further and increasing the amount of weekend events. I also think smaller issues are important in this election: for example, increasing the quality of Daly’s appliances. The most important issue is making sure that the opinions of our students are heard loud and clear and taken seriously.
