Quilt display raises awareness of on-going epidemic

The HIV and AIDS quilt, which was on display on Dec. 1, offers staff, students and faculty to remember those who have died from HIV and AIDS and reflect on the disease and those who currently live with it. In recognition of World AIDS Day, the quilt has become a Rider tradition since 2004. It is constructed by clubs and organizations on campus, including Ziegler Hall, the Psychology Club, the Black Student Union and others. It has allowed the Rider community to commemorate and support those who have been affected by HIV and AIDS and to bring awareness to the epidemic over the years.
