Why are you running for this position? Our SGA president should be someone who represents the students. There is no reason that the members of our community can’t identify with the president. The main reason for this is that there aren’t enough people who know their president.
What issue(s) is/are most important to you in this election? Why? The things that are most important to me are unity and getting people involved with things on campus. There are so many organizations that have programs, but students don’t seem to come out to them. There is always so much going on, and I feel as though we need to take advantage of everything that is offered. This leads into unity. If organizations on campus all work together and support each other, we can reach greater heights and get more done for the campus than ever before because at the end of the day, no matter what organizations we are a part of, we are a part of Rider University first.
How do you plan on working with the Finance Board to fairly distribute money to clubs and organizations for 2009-2010? It’s a simple matter of being more careful of what we are giving out money for. I also feel that organizations should fundraise for money along with going to the Finance Board. We also need a more structured plan on how to disburse money. Priority should go to those who are involved and are doing things for the campus community.
