What changes would you like to see made next year? I would like to see potential problems addressed immediately instead of being brushed under the rug. Too often when problems happen, the discussions are centered around “what can be done to make sure it doesn’t happen again.” Obviously, mistakes are going to happen from time to time, but it is important to make sure that when a new proposal is being enacted, it is thoroughly vetted and the difficult and uncomfortable questions are asked to help minimize problems later.
How would you go about making those changes? A strong SGA cannot be run by just one person. That is why I would go about ensuring more involvement in SGA organizations in the coming year. Part of this more-involved SGA will include a more proactive cabinet filled with student leaders with detailed knowledge on specific issues such as Community Affairs or Recruitment.
