An Oct. 23 editorial in The Rider News contained information that police were investigating allegations that Lawrence High School students urinated on an African-American student at a football game. Police subsequently announced they found no evidence of urine, but believe another type of liquid was thrown. Three teens face charges including harassment and bias intimidation, after racially derogatory terms were allegedly used during the incident.
