On Fire!! ignites all forms of art
This past Monday night, the Cavalla Room hosted the premiere of the second issue of On Fire!! A Literary Journal of the African Diaspora, a compilation of poetry, narratives, photography, interviews and fiction that details the African-American experience through the eyes of various authors.
Creator and editor-in-chief Rance Robeson II published the debut issue of On Fire!! in April 2008. He is hoping to give a new voice and outlet to African-Americans on campus, as well as others in the community.
On Fire!! is not restricted to Rider students; often, other New York-based performance artists and community leaders will participate in the open literary forum.
