Not So User-Friendly

A male staff member working on the ground floor of Moore Library was verbally harassed via a phone call on Monday, March 31, between 5:05 and 5:25 p.m. The staff member received a call from an unknown male. The caller gave his first name only and inquired about the name of a person using a Rider e-mail address.

The caller had apparently sent a message out to a Rider e-mail user concerning a Craig’s List item. When the staff member told the caller that he could not release any information about the user, the caller responded with some harsh words. The investigation is ongoing.
