As of Friday morning, the total number of students who have contracted the norovirus is 212, according to Dan Higgins, executive director of University Communications.
There have only been 24 new cases this week since last Friday, he said. Of the 24 cases, 19 were seen by Student Health Services (SHS), while the others were reported to SHS.
Also, normal self-service dining has been reestablished in Dalys on Wednesday, but fresh fruit and bagels are still individually wrapped, according to Dean of Students, Anthony Campbell.
The university encourages students to practice good hygiene to prevent the spread of the virus and to avoid sharing drinks, food, utensils or cups.
