Fall Music Mini Series: Week 3

By Lisa Henderson

Fans of the 1990s and 2000s hold Blink 182's "What's My Age Again" close to heart.

Fans of retro music will appreciate this week’s special countdown on VH1, “Top 100 Greatest Songs of the 2000s.” Host Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy takes us down the list of forever-ago favorites. The countdown continues through Friday night, highlighting all of our most cherished, nostalgia-rousing tunes. Kicking off the list this past Monday was Sisqo’s “The Thong Song,” an ever-so-passionate track about Sisqo’s enthusiasm for women’s underwear. Among the greats were “What’s My Age Again” by Blink182, “Family Affair” by Mary J. Blige and DMX’s celebration anthem, “Party Up.”

The videos are accompanied by commentary from celebrities and comedians, which spices up the visuals and inspires many laughs. Among those interviewed for the show were Jersey Shore’s Deena Cortese and comedian Loni Love, who recently performed on Rider’s Lawrenceville campus.

Relive your childhood during tonight’s final episode of the countdown at 10 p.m. on VH1.
