After 3 years, Rider revamps site

A redesigned Rider Web site was launched Thursday at midnight replacing the current site that dates back to October 2004, school administrators said.
Both the Lawrenceville and Princeton campuses’ sites were updated using input from more than 250 people at the school and from focus groups, said Jennifer Cafiero, director of enrollment planning, reporting and Internet projects.
“We did a lot to get to this point,” she said. “We had to go back and do more revisions. We are always improving.”
Some changes of the Web site were already launched, such as the search box and dining Web site. The navigation has not been changed, Cafiero said.
“We’ve cleaned it up so it’s not so confusing,” she said.
When shown to the Lawrenceville SGA Senate Tuesday, some members were concerned with the green navigation box on the right hand side of the site.
“I’m still concerned with the green,” said Michele Domalewski, organizational affairs team leader. “Green is not a Rider color.”
Cafiero said green complements cranberry.
“Cranberry is a really, really, really, hard color to get a complementary color with,” she said.
