AAUP contract ratification meeting scheduled for tomorrow

Rider’s faculty union will vote tomorrow on the ratification of the 3-year labor agreement at 11:30 a.m., according to an email sent to union members.

Negotiations between Rider’s chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) and the administration yielded a tentative agreement on Saturday, Oct. 22, after months of tense negotiations, according to both sides.

No details about the contract will be provided until both the AAUP and the Board of Trustees ratify the agreement.
