A visiting male was asked to leave the Pub on Saturday, March 28, at 12:47 a.m. A visiting female came out of the Pub on her way to the bathroom and informed Public Safety that her boyfriend was being loud. The boyfriend was asked to leave the Pub, which he did. However, after the male left, a resident student said the male went into the women’s bathroom. Public Safety officers asked him to leave the building, but the male reportedly walked back into Cranberry’s. Lawrence Township Police officers were on supplemental patrol and assisted Public Safety officers with removing the male from campus.
Two male alumni vandalized a television and pool table in Omega House on Sunday, March 29, at 1:43 a.m. The two males reportedly entered the building through an unsecured front door. They went into a lounge area and allegedly slashed the felt on a pool table and punched out the screen of a television. A male resident student reported the damage to Public Safety. The cost of the damage is unknown. Three witnesses were able to positively identify the alums.
Stand farther away
A student failed to comply with the new smoking policy outside of Conover Hall on Friday, March 27, at 3:41 a.m. After completing a routine patrol, Public Safety officers exited Conover and saw students smoking near the building. The officers informed the students about the new smoking policy. One student referred to the new policy as “B.S.” and said the officers could write him up. Reportedly, he began yelling as officers attempted to explain the new policy to him and said that officers couldn’t tell him what to do. He was eventually told to leave the area.
Remember to lock room doors and put locks on gym lockers. Don’t leave valuables in unsecure places.
