Problematic pizza deliveryman

A deliveryman sent a student a harassing text message after dropping off a pizza on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 1:30 a.m. The student received the pizza order on Fraternity Drive, outside of Ridge House. The student received the text after the man left.

Branch bashes window

High winds caused a tree branch to fall and break the back window of a student’s Toyota Celica on Thursday, Feb. 12. The car was parked in the Kroner Lot behind the Science building. The cost to repair the damage is not known.

Beer pong bust

Eleven students were playing beer pong on Friday, Feb. 13, at 12:06 a.m. in Lincoln Hall. Of the people present, nine were Rider students and two were visitors. Only two of the 11 were of legal age to consume alcohol.

Sorority prank

Sisters from the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority took a cushion from the swing outside of the Alpha Xi Delta (AZD) sorority house on Friday, Feb. 13, at 1 a.m. The cushion was returned and the sisters of AZD dismissed the event as just a prank.

Hit and run

A student struck a facilities vehicle while backing out of a parking space on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 10:33 a.m. There were no injuries to either driver, but the facilities car suffered damage to its driver side rear quarter panel. After backing into the facilities vehicle, the student got out of his car and said he had to get to work. He drove off, leaving the scene of the accident.
