A student departed in a vehicle from the area in front of Hill Hall at a high rate of speed on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 3:05 a.m. There were a lot of people and vehicles in the immediate area. Public Safety stopped the speeding vehicle and the driver will be charged with disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.

Television taken

A flat-screen television was stolen from the second-floor lounge of Ziegler Hall on Saturday, Feb. 7. The television was a 42-inch Sharp screen and is valued at $1,389. The theft is still under investigation, and no one has been charged.

Assault in Hill

Two female students were arguing in a first floor hallway in Hill Hall on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 2:58 a.m. One assaulted the other, pulling her hair and grabbing her clothing. The female suspected of the assault said the confrontation stemmed from an earlier argument. The student will be charged with, among other things, attempted physical abuse.

Sink damaged in frat

A facilities management employee reported damage to a sink basin in the second-floor bathroom of Omega House on Monday, Feb. 9, at 11:33 a.m. Omega House is the fraternity house for Tau Kappa Epsilon. There are no suspects, and the cost of the damage is unknown.

Alcohol violation

A student was found intoxicated in a women’s bathroom in Hill Hall on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 2:17 a.m. The student was found vomiting. Charges were recommended against the student for violating the university’s alcohol policy.
