Unknown persons were seen throwing a trash container into Centennial Lake on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 3:36 a.m. While leaving the General Services building, Public Safety officers saw several people carry a wheeled trash container from the Bart Luedeke Center, walk across the campus green to the lake and throw the can in the lake. When the officers approached, the people ran in the direction of Poyda Hall. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Public Safety at x. 5029.

Harassment in Hill

Three people harassed a female resident while she was visiting Hill Hall on Friday, Nov. 7. The female reported to Public Safety officers that while in Hill she was harassed by two female residents and a third person whom she did not know. She told officers that she had been in a disagreement with one of the females about a month ago. Upon entering a section of one of the halls in Hill, the female was told that she was not welcome. She replied that she was welcome and entered a room and sat down. The three alleged harassers told the female to leave. When she refused, the unknown person threatened her and threw beer at her.

The female left the area and went back to her room to report the incident. Public Safety contacted the two female residents who allegedly did the harassing. They told officers that they exchanged words with the female but were not physical. The investigation is ongoing.

A bad visit

An underage male visitor was found intoxicated in an Olson Hall bathroom Saturday, Nov. 8, at 10 p.m. A female staff member found the male vomiting in the bathroom and contacted Public Safety officers. The male was on campus visiting a friend who is a male resident. Based on the visitor’s medical condition, officers notified an ambulance, which transported the visitor to a nearby hospital.
