  6. The Rider News serves as a public forum for student expression and welcomes letters to the editor from all members of the university community. Brevity is encouraged. Letters must include the writer’s telephone number and email address for verification. Letters that constitute personal attacks on individuals or groups are unacceptable. We reserve the right to edit letters to the editor for length, clarity, accuracy, grammar and libel. Letters must be appropriate in terms of taste and civility. All decisions are at the sole discretion of the editorial board which may reject any letter.
